The short version
No account, no email, no ads, no paywall. Audio from your mic never leaves your device, and your scores never leave your browser. The longer version is below, and it is not much longer.
Your microphone
The mic is optional. When you turn it on, a voice-activity detector (Silero VAD) runs entirely in your browser and marks the moment your voice starts, so the game can score your timing against the beat. That is all it reads. No audio is recorded, stored, or uploaded anywhere.
Say no to the permission prompt and the game still works end to end. Your score just is not mic-verified.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which beats get played. It is standard usage stats, governed by Google's privacy policy. There is no advertising and no ad tracking, and nothing here is built to identify you.
Stored on your device
Your streak, your scores, and your game settings stay in your browser's local storage. They never reach a server. Clear your site data and they are gone for good, which also means they do not follow you to another device.
Challenge links
When you send a friend a challenge, everything they need, the beat, the difficulty, the exact word sequence, is encoded in the link itself. Opening it sends nothing about you anywhere. You compare scores yourselves, on the honor system.
Questions
Questions about privacy, bug reports, and game feedback all go to the same place: koboshi1989@gmail.com. If anything here changes, the date at the top changes with it.
